Marcel Sabitzer is already a selling candidate at FC Bayern only around a year after his arrival. After the central midfielder was most recently traded at Arsenal and Atlético Madrid, rumors about a change to Turkey are now circulating.

According to the “Takvim” newspaper, Sabitzer could move to Fenerbahce in summer. Accordingly, the 28-year-old was offered by his management at the club from Istanbul. The Arsenal and Atlético Madrid FC should mean the Munich price presentation of allegedly around 15 million euros too high.

According to the report, Fenerbahce could prefer a different transfer model. So a loan with subsequent purchase obligation is an option, it is said.

Due to the high transfer of transfer from FC Bayern and the prominent competition, Sabitzer’s commitment to Fenerbahce is a difficult undertaking, “Takvim” classifies the rumor.

Welcome, Marcel Sabitzer!

In addition, it has not yet been decided whether the Austrian will actually leave the Munich after just one season. Last year Sabitzer changed from RB Leipzig to Säbener Straße for around 15 million euros.

Since then, the playmaker has not been able to prevail at FC Bayern and is only used sporadically under head coach Julian Nagelsmann.

In March, “Bild” reported that Sabitz’s thoughts are about an early farewell from Munich. In the past few weeks, the reports have increased that FC Bayern would let the former Leipziger go with a corresponding offer.

Sabitzer is still under contract with the Bundesliga leader until 2025. In the current season, the 60-time national player in Austria has completed 29 encounters for FC Bayern.
