New graphics card drivers for AMD Radeon graphics cards have been available for download today. The AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.3.1 is the first corresponding driver package for the month of March. From Nvidia there was no new graphics card drivers this month. The AMD drivers have a download size of 538 megabytes for Windows 10 and 11 (each 64-bit) and are compatible with all Radeon graphics cards from the RX 400 series. This time, certain games have not been the focus of the update, how to remove the releaseotes.
However, there are features that AMD has reintroduced or improving. Thus, the Radeon Super Resolution is new with it, short RSR – it replaces the previous FSR (Fidelity Super Resolution) and above all the advantage of being driving in all games. By FSR or now also RSR, a game can be internally calculated in a higher resolution than the one that the monitor has. The result is then broken down on the native monitor resolution, but especially at edges promises a better result than when the graphics card expands only in native resolution.
Also uninteresting: AMD Link has been improved: with AMD-Link Play it should be possible to lock up with up to four players via Android or Windows app with a guest PC to be calculated by this PC VIA Stream in the Local Multiplayer mode to play. In addition to the two features described in more detail by us, the new drivers also offer additional small improvements and error disposal that you can read more in the releaseotes.
