Link in the Zelda_ Legend is not just an adventurer / percussionist, it’s also a prodigy of music. As in many games of the series, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening presents a Ocarina for Link to use to express its creative side and pull a little magic based on music. Once you have entered the ocarina, you need to learn three songs in Link’s Awakening you need to help you on your trip.
The WIND FISH BALADE
The first piece you will learn Link’s awakening is the windfall of the wind. You will discover this sailor’s song, the girl who saved you at the beginning of the game. It’s the same song she sings to wake up the sleek morse blocking your way to the Yarna desert.
Once sailor has awakened the walrus, you will find it at Animal Village in front of an audience of wooden creatures. Talk to him there and she will teach you the walking fish ballad. You can not go to Animal Village after finishing the third dungeon, Key Caven. If you are not yet at this stage of the game and sailor is not at Animal Village, you should be able to find it in the village of Mabe. You will always have to bring a marine to awaken the walrus to progrise from here. This song will be useful later when you need to wake up the windfish.
Mambo de Manbo
Shortly after learning the windflash ballad, you can get the Mambo de Manbo. You will have to finish the fourth dungeon, Angler’s Tunnel, and get the fins. Immediately after leaving angler’s tunnel, you can swim in the water to the left of the dungeon entrance to reach another cave. There you will find Manbo, who teaches you the second song.
Manbo’s Mambo is extremely useful because it allows you to travel quickly. Whenever you play the song, you can instantly go to any discovered distortion or be returned to the entrance of a dungeon.
song of the soul of the frog
The latest Ocarina song in Link’s awakening is located in the fifth dungeon, Catfish’s Maw. You will need the grapple you get in this dungeon, as well as 300 rupees to unlock it.
To the south-east of the village of Mabe, head to the Ukuku Prairie. You will find a place where there is an abyss in the ground you can cross with the grapple. Zip on the indicator pole labyrinth. Complete the labyrinth by reading each panel and following their instructions. A staircase will take you to the end.
In the underground chamber, you will meet Mamu, who will teach you the song of the frog soul in exchange for 300 rupees. You do not need this song right away. It only becomes useful when you have to enter the eighth dungeon. Do not feel obliged to rush to take it right away.
