Gustavo Poyet takes over the vacant coaching post in the Greek national team. As the Greek Association announced on Friday, the Uruguayer has signed a contract by 2023. Poyet (54) occurs the succession of the Dutchman John Van’t Schip, which had resigned at the end of November. “I come to a beautiful country with great history and great people,” said Poyet, whose contract contains an extension clause up to the EM 2024.
